Ummah Unite Services: The Team That Runs Muslim Events A to Z

Most companies have more than one division, and so do we. Ummah Unite's first division is the platform: ticketing for Muslim events of every size, with event commerce and check-in built in, used self-serve by masajid, MSAs, schools, charities and conventions. The second is Ummah Unite Services: the team that sits behind the platform and can run an event from the first planning call to the last person through the door. This page is about the second division, what it does, and when you actually need it.

The platform first, the team when you want it

You never need the services team to use Ummah Unite. A masjid can publish a free halaqa in two minutes; a school can sell gala tables tonight; a convention can open vendor booths from a floor plan, all on its own. The services team exists for the moments when an organizer has the vision and the venue but not the people: no one to build the website, run the marketing, chase sponsors, recruit vendors or staff the door.

That is why we describe ourselves as a ticketing platform first. The team is a division of the company, not a condition of using it.

What the team does, A to Z

Strategy: target attendance, ticket tiers and pricing, early-bird windows, sponsor and vendor revenue targets, and a week-by-week plan to hit them.

Website and event page: a white-label event page on the organizer's own brand and domain, or a full event website, with ticketing and checkout built in.

Marketing: content, campaigns and distribution to Ummah Unite's 55,000+ community (50K+ Instagram followers and 5,000+ ticket holders), plus the organizer's own channels, tracked against ticket sales every week.

Speakers, sponsors and vendors: outreach, packages, booth maps and sponsor pages, sold through the same checkout as tickets so revenue lands in the organizer's Stripe account at the moment of sale.

Operations: run of show, volunteer shifts, registration questions, brothers'/sisters'/family sections, and the door, with QR check-in on every volunteer's phone.

Media: photo, video and reels during and after the event, so the next event starts with an audience.

How an engagement works

For a flagship event, the team typically works with the organizer for three to five months: planning and pricing first, the website and sponsor packages next, marketing in waves, then operations and the door. We stay after the event for the follow-up, because that is where the next event sells.

Some organizers keep the team every month of the year for their next event, newsletter, fundraiser and content. Others hire a single piece, such as media coverage, a website or a day-of door team, from the fixed-price menu on the services page.

What it costs

Individual services have fixed starting prices on the services page: media from $50, logistics from a $250 consult to $2,500 end to end, and tech builds from $500. Full event engagements are quoted per event, often as a share of the event's gross revenue so the team is paid when the event succeeds. Platform fees are separate and unchanged: free events are free, paid tickets are $1 + 2.5% shown to the attendee.

Proof: the Niya Summit

The Niya Global Startup Summit at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View was expected to struggle to sell 175 tickets two months out. The team took over marketing end to end, built niyasummit.com, supported operations and ran ticketing. The final count was 327 tickets, 214 of them in the last week, with $0 in ad spend. The organizer, Taqi Hasan, called Ummah Unite "a real partner in making this happen, not just a vendor." The full case study is on this site.

When you do not need us

If your event is a weekly class, a youth night or a community dinner your team already knows how to run, use the platform on its own; it is built for exactly that. Bring in the services team when the event is bigger than your team: a first-time conference, a gala with sponsors, a bazaar with dozens of vendors, or an event where the ticket target is a real risk.

Questions

Do I have to hire the services team to use Ummah Unite?

No. The platform is fully self-serve. Services are a separate, optional division for organizers who want a team to run the event with them.

Is Ummah Unite a ticketing platform or an agency?

A ticketing platform first, with a services division. Ticketing, event commerce and check-in are the product everyone uses; the services team is available for events that need people as well as software.

How long does a full engagement last?

Typically three to five months for a flagship event, or month to month for organizers who run events year-round.

Where does the money from tickets, sponsors and vendors go?

To the organizer's own Stripe account at the moment of sale, the same as for self-serve organizers. The services team never holds event revenue.
