Muslim Student Associations run the most events per member of any organization in the community - and most of them are free. Here is what MSAs host and how they run it without a budget.
What MSAs host
Weekly halaqas, welcome-week dinners, Fast-a-Thons during Ramadan, Islam Awareness Week, charity banquets, sports nights and end-of-year formals. Attendance runs from a dozen to a few hundred; banquets sometimes charge $15-30.
Running it with no budget
