Event commerce
A vendor marketplace on your event page
The vendors at a Muslim event are small businesses that sell out of a car boot on the day and go home. On Ummah Unite each one gets a storefront on your event page, open the moment tickets go on sale: attendees browse, pre-order and pay, and collect at the booth with the QR already on their ticket.
Storefront sales are paid directly into each vendor's own Stripe account as they happen. The organizer sees every booking, order and pickup on one Vendors page; the attendee sees their vendor orders on the same ticket as their entry.
How it works
- Any account can sell. A vendor's store is their profile; there is no application form. They connect their own Stripe account, add products with photos and prices, and their storefront appears on the events they take part in.
- Pre-orders before the day. Attendees buy from a vendor's storefront while they buy their tickets, or any time before the event. The vendor knows what to bring.
- Fulfilment, three ways. Pickup at the booth, delivery to the venue, or shipping with tracking and email updates — per store, at the vendor's choice, with their own flat rate, free-over threshold and handling time.
- One QR. The attendee's ticket QR is the pickup code. The vendor scans it and sees only their own orders for that person; the door has already used the same code for entry.
- An order timeline. Buyer and vendor both see where each order is — paid, ready, picked up, shipped.
What it costs
$1 + 2.5% per order, shown to the buyer at checkout or absorbed by the vendor. Card processing is added at checkout. The order's face value goes to the vendor's Stripe at the moment of sale; the organizer's booth revenue is separate and goes to the organizer. Nothing is held or pooled.
Why organizers switch it on
Because vendors come back to events where they sold well. A storefront turns a Saturday of foot traffic into two weeks of orders, and the vendor who did well is the vendor who books the bigger booth next year. It also means the family with three kids can buy the Eid outfits from their sofa and collect them in thirty seconds at the booth, which is the difference between a pleasant festival and a queue.

Questions
What is a vendor storefront on Ummah Unite?
A vendor's own shop on the organizer's event page: products with prices and photos, pre-orders before the event, and fulfilment by pickup at the booth, delivery to the venue, or shipping with tracking, if the vendor offers it.
Who can sell?
Any signed-in account can open a storefront; the store is the vendor's profile, with no separate application. Vendors connect their own Stripe account before they can be paid.
What does a storefront order cost?
$1 + 2.5% per order, shown to the buyer at checkout or absorbed by the vendor. The face value of the order is paid into the vendor's own Stripe account at the moment of sale.
How does pickup work at the event?
The attendee's ticket QR is the pickup code. The vendor scans it at their booth and sees only their own orders for that attendee — the same QR the door used for entry.
Does the organizer see vendor sales?
Yes. The organizer's Vendors page shows bookings, storefronts, and pickup and delivery status per vendor. Vendor orders also appear on the attendee's ticket.
